PICTURE: Frontline are the new league leaders in the Eat Berkshire Football League Premier Division after a 5-2 win at KS Gryf on Saturday, their third straight victory so far this season.
Both Frontline and Britwell completed a hat-trick of wins to move to the top of the East Berkshire Football League Premier Division table on Saturday.
Frontline finished as runners-up last season and have made the perfect start in their attempts to go one better this time around, making it three wins from there matches with a 5-2 victory over KS Gryf on Saturday.
Both Imran Kassim and Sayyid Saleh scored twice in the success at the Polish Association, with Sameer Khan also hitting the back of the net.
Britwell have returned to the E.B.F.L after a season in the Hellenic League and run up the treble with a 3-0 win against A.F.C Reading at The Chicken Ranch. There were three different goals scorers in the success; Alfie Keeler, Conor Remsbury-Kelly and Bryan Robert-Taylor.
F.C Baylis United have now won in both of their home league matches so far this season after a 6-1 victory over Cookham Dean. Ibrahim Sajid opened the scoring inside 10 minutes at the Iver Heath Recreation Ground, but Lee Jerrum equalised for Cookham five minutes later. F.C Baylis took a lead into the break after both Sajid and Amarpal Raju found a route to goal. The hosts scored three more times to complete the rout in the second half; Sajid to complete his hat-trick as well as substitutes Kamran Khan and Saleh Saleh.
Chalvey Sports registered their first win of the campaign when beating F.C. Beaconsfield 3-1 at the George Pitcher Memorial Ground in Burnham. James Hepburn scored a brace for The Stabmonks with Alfie O’Connor also on target. Asiah Aikman scored a consolation effort for Beaconsfield.
PICTURE: Pundit moved onto a total of four points from three matches in the Premier Division after a 1-1 draw with Langley Reserves at the George Pitcher Memorial Ground on Saturday.
Pundit needed an equalising goal from Ryan Partington in time added on at the end of the game to rescue at 1-1 draw with Langley Reserves at the George Pitcher Memorial Ground. Langley had taken the lead through Harley Dyer earlier in the second half.
There were just three matches in Division One on Saturday and both Hype Train and Berks Elite remain unbeaten so far this season following a 3-3 draw at Waingels College.
A goal from Mohammad Ilyas Abdulwahab gave table toppers Hype Train a lead inside four minutes, but they were pegged back through Shettima Bukar in the 16th minute. Berks Elite then gained the upper hand via Benjamin Asamoah Asiedu, but Abdulwahab hit the back of the net again to ensure the two sides were level at half-time.
Berks Elite regained the upper hand when Clifford Gyamfi scored just past the hour mark, but Hype Train are top of the league for a reason and a goal from Jordi Youri Ebanda ensured the points would be shared.

Old Windsor Reserves regained the winning thread after back-to-back defeats with a 5-0 victory over Eton Wick at Haywards Mead. Two goals in two minutes from Mark Walker and Lewis Hewitt gave The Os a clear lead at the break. The points were secured when Liam Spires, substitute Oliver Murray and Sean Blandford all hit the back of the net in the second period.
Taplow United Swans are still in search of a first league win this season after a 3-3 draw with Real Saracens at the George Pitcher Memorial Ground. Alex Seymour bagged a brace for The Swans, with William Durant also on target. Musab Hanif struck twice for Real Saracens with Hamza Arif Isap adding the third goal.
