PICTURE: Britwell have won all eight of their matches in the Premier Division so far this season to lead their rivals by three points heading into the winter period.
Britwell F.C made it a perfect eight wins out of eight in the East Berkshire League Premier Division with a 6-1 victory against Sandhurst F.C Royals on Saturday.
The Steamteam has swept all before them since rejoining the league from the Hellenic Football League in the summer and they lead arch rivals and defending champions, Old Windsor, by three points. The two title favourites are still to meet in the race for championship glory.
Britwell have scored an impressive 47 goals in eight league matches so far this season at an incredible average of more than five goals per game, and the defence has conceded only twice in that time.
Bryan Robert Taylor bagged a brace at the Sandhurst Memorial Park, with Jack Pearce, Conor Remsbury-Kelly, Sean Robinson and Thomas Smith all also hitting the back of the net.
A Scott Shakran effort is a mere consolation for Sandhurst, but it was the first time that the Britwell defence has conceded a goal since the opening weekend in the season.
The Royals have now lost in each of their last three league games, twice to the table toppers and once to last seasons runners-up, Frontline, but they maintain a very respectable mid-table position as the season approaches the halfway stage.

The Os however, took more of their chances in the second period and further goals from Sam George, Bradley Birchmore and substitute Jake Bartlett secured maximum points.
Frontline put back-to-back losses behind them to beat Pundit 4-3 and move up to third position in the table, leapfrogging rivals F.C. Baylis United in the process.
The visitors to George Pitcher Memorial Ground in Burnham can boast four different goals scorers; Sameer Khan and Sayyid Saleh plus substitutes Isaac Amin and Ahmed Saleh.

The visitors to the Alfred Major Recreation Ground took the lead when Ajmal Abdalla hit the back of the net 10 minutes before half-time. Baylis could not hold onto their advantage however, and Sean Inkpen equalised just two minutes later, and Simeon Broadbent scored the winner on the hour mark.
Cookham were reduced to 10-men when Dylan Morrison was dismissed for a second bookable offence with a little more than 10 minutes still to play, but his side held on to bag another three points and now be within touching distance of a mid-table position.
KS Gryf gave themselves a huge confidence boost in the battle with relegation thanks to a 4-1 success over fellow strugglers Chalvey Sports, themselves now outside the bottom two on goals difference only.
